We’ve got a few twists of our own on fall – specifically how to take some of your seasonal favorites and turn them into delicious protein shakes.

APPLE PIE PROTEIN SHAKE
Ingredients:
1 scoop Six Star 100% Whey Protein Plus, Vanilla Cream
1 apple
1/4 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
1 tbsp. cinnamon
4 to 5 ice cubes
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

PUMPKIN PIE SMOOTHIE
Ingredients:
1 scoop Six Star 100% Whey Protein Plus, Vanilla Cream
1/2 frozen banana
1/3 cup canned pumpkin puree
1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt
3/4 cup almond milk
4 to 5 ice cubes
Dash of pumpkin pie spice
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

PB&J SMOOTHIE
Ingredients
1 scoop Six Star 100% Whey Protein Plus, Vanilla Cream
1 cup plain milk or kefir drink
2 tsp. wheat germ or wheat-based cereal
2 tsp. peanut butter
1/4 cup dried tart cherries
1/2 frozen banana, chopped
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

PUMPKIN PROTEIN SHAKE
Ingredients:
1 scoop Six Star 100% Whey Protein Plus, Vanilla Cream
6 ice cubes
1/3 cup canned pumpkin puree
1/3 cup 2% milk
1 cup vanilla soy milk
2 sugar (or sugar substitute) packets
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend to your desired consistency. Add cinnamon or nutmeg for extra flavor.

CARAMEL APPLE PROTEIN SHAKE
Ingredients:
1 scoop Six Star 100% Whey Protein Plus, Vanilla Cream
1/2 cup applesauce
1/2 tsp. caramel extract
1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
5 to 10 ice cubes
1/2 to 1 cup water or milk
1/4 tsp. sweetener of your choice
Dash of cinnamon
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until thick and creamy. If you want a thicker shake, feel free to add yogurt. You can also enhance the flavor by adding more cinnamon, apple wedges, caramel drizzle or whipped cream.

SWEET POTATO PROTEIN DRINK
Ingredients:
1 scoop Six Star 100% Whey Protein Plus, Vanilla Cream
1 cup sweet potato, peeled and cubed
1 1/4 cups water
1/4 cup milk powder
1/3 cup canned chickpeas
2 tsp. almond butter
2 tsp. pure maple syrup
1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. ground allspice
Directions:
Place sweet potato cubes in a microwaveable bowl with 1 tsp. of water. Cover with plastic wrap and microwave on high for 6 minutes, or until the potato is fork-tender.
Heat remaining water in a kettle to just under a boil. Combine water, milk powder and protein powder in a blender, then add sweet potato and remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.

CINNAMON ROLL SMOOTHIE
Ingredients:1 scoop Six Star 100% Whey Protein Plus, Vanilla Cream
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. instant cheesecake pudding mix
1 packet sweetener of choice
4 to 5 ice cubes
