If you’re looking for a nice hot drink to take edge off the cold this winter it may be tempting to have a sugary hot chocolate. Instead, try this tasty high protein version made with Unflavored Whey Protein Plus!
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups Milk, (unsweetened almond, or coconut milk can be used for lower carbs)
- 1/4 cup Unflavored Whey Protein Plus
- 2-3 tbsp 100% Cocoa Powder (depending on how chocolaty you like it)
- Stevia or other sweetener for desired level of sweetness
DIRECTIONS
- Add all the ingredients to a pot and mix
- Heat it all up at medium heat while whisking
- Take it off the heat as soon as it gets hot but not boiling hot—think warm enough to touch. If you wait any longer and the mixture boils, the whey will start to curdle
- Pour into your favorite mug and enjoy your warm chocolaty treat!
