Homemade Chocolate Protein Bar

Chocolate Protein Bar

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup whole-wheat flour
  • 1 beaten egg
  • ¼ cup applesauce
  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts
  • 3 scoops chocolate protein powder

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F.
  2. In a large bowl, stir together all of the dry ingredients.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the egg and mix with the applesauce and oil.
  4. Combine all ingredients and mix well.
  5. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Spray the foil with cooking spray.
  6. Break the mixture into 6 evenly distributed balls.
  7. Roll each ball out lengthwise and place on the baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until firm and lightly browned around the edges.
  9. Remove from heat and let cool.
