What’s up everyone? Welcome back to Mental Sweat Monday, I’m Hannah Huesman.
Today let’s talk about shifting the perspective of how you view failure. Typically, we don’t want to fail. We don’t want to be embarrassed. We don’t want to look inept. We don’t want to let those around us down.
But why? It’s because no one ever strives to show others their weaknesses. We as human beings have a tough time being vulnerable and letting those walls down.
There are a couple of things you should fear and those are the things YOU CAN CONTROL.
Fear having a bad attitude.
Fear having a lack of effort.
Fear not being prepared.
You have all of the power in the world to control those things.
What we don’t want you to fear is making a mistake, challenging yourself and being embarrassed. If you truly know it’s going to make you better, who cares what everyone else thinks!?!?
Failure can be an incredibly powerful tool if you let it, so we need to stop fearing failure and start embracing it.
