Stay Fit and Healthy in a Hotel Room

Whether for business or pleasure, being away from home for an extended period of time can wreak havoc on your fitness routine. Here are a few good exercises that you can do to maintain your physique during your time away from home.

  • Dips
  • Push-ups
  • Squats
  • Situps
  • Dips:

This is a great upper-body exercise that you can perform off of your bed or any chair. Simply sit down and place your hands on either side of you. From there, step away from your seat so that your butt is floating and bend your elbows to 90 degrees. Then push yourself back up to the starting position by locking the elbows and engaging the arms.

Push-Ups:

An all-time favorite and easily performed from your hotel room floor. Lie down on your stomach, get up on your toes, hands shoulder-width apart, and simply push yourself away from the floor repeatedly. If that is too difficult, you can perform the same movement from your knees instead of your toes.

Squats:

A good exercise that will target all of the major leg muscles. Just stand with your feet slightly wider than shoulder-width apart and place your hands on your hips. From there, bend your knees and stick your butt out until you reach 90 degrees at the knee, then push yourself back up to the beginning repeatedly.

Sit-Ups:

This exercise is very effective at working the muscles of the stomach and can easily be accomplished from any hotel room floor. Just lie down on your back, knees bent, and come all the way up and touch your feet. If you need assistance, lock your toes under the bed or dresser for support.

Don’t forget to always finish off your workout with a serving of Six Star Whey Protein Plus. These vital nutrients can sometimes be hard to find on the road, so remember to always pack some to ensure optimal gains are attained while you travel.
